Forgive

There are bogus reasons why people refuse to forgive:

1. He didn’t say I’m sorry.
2. He didn’t ask for forgiveness.
3. What he did was too bad to forgive.
4. If I forgive he will do it again.
5. He has done it again and again.
6. I don’t feel like forgiving.
7. If I forgive I will have to treat him well.
8. He is dead so there is no use in forgiving.

We forgive because we have been forgiven. Our sins against God far outweigh anything that has been done against us. And all Jesus asks in return is that we forgive those who have sinned against us. Forgive those who have hurt your feelings or insulted you.
