King David was the greatest king Israel ever had. He wrote Psalm 119. I believe David saw the wickedness, violence, and corruption of men in the world, and it grieved him greatly.
In Psalm 110 he said, The LORD said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”
This means that God the Father spoke to God the Son about His enemies and said that a day is coming when everything will be made right. Only when Jesus returns will there be righteousness on earth.
