Numbers One

Imagine the size of the Israelite army compared to the army of the United States today. The U.S. has an army of 1/2 million, out of a population of 300,000 million. The Israelites had an army of .6 million out of a population of 2 1/2 million!

Hi Debbie,

Glad to hear from you. Okay, now your question:

"As vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes, so is the lazy man to those who send him." Proverbs 10:26.

The lazy man is someone who cannot be depended upon, and the one who depends upon him for service will be sorry.

Vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes are very irritating. And the one who sent the lazy man to do a job will be very irritated.

Take care.
